OUR GOAL IS TO INTRODUCE YOU TO OUR GLOBAL FAMILY AND FOR YOU TO HAVE TRUSTWORTHY AND SAFE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH AS YOU TAKE ON A 'LIFE-CHANGING' PROJECT.
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO?
THEY DID SOMETHING BIG, SO CAN YOU!
With Loving Orphans Global and the financial support of my community, we funded the construction of two renewable energy projects in Bali. After raising the money, I moved to Bali and spent a year and a half navigating the island, making friends, and understanding the people and their culture. I created Tern Travel during my time there as a way to combine my passions for travel, active living, and helping out where I can.
The Children's Home needed a bus
to transport the kids to school each day. Before, they were making 4 different trips, to school and back, and now they can accomplish it in one trip saving both gas and time for the staff. I adopted this project to help fill this need, and in 52 days of sharing within my community, we had raised around $11,500 for the new bus. I traveled to Bali, Indonesia where we purchased the bus, and surprised the kids and staff. They were so happy and grateful, and the kids loved their new ride!
