Ryan Pietrzyk

- CHILDRENS HOME IN ROTE, INDONESIA

"Hey, what’s up everyone? My name is Ryan Pietrzyk and my project is to help fundraise for/facilitate the construction of a children’s home in Rote, Indonesia. I found out recently that the children will lose their current home in January 2016, so it is imperative that the progress of the new home continues. I have met a lot of amazing people along the way and I continue to be blessed with great experiences – so many kind hearts have donated. There have been complications with certain construction plans, communication can be difficult, but what is most important is that everyone has kept complete faith in creating opportunity for these amazing children and the surrounding community. Would you like to be apart of creating a new home for these wonderful children in Rote?"

Owen Jordan - Nepali Children's Home Makeover

I recently experienced the adventure of a lifetime in Nepal and an amazing program to give kids in remote villages an education. I stayed at a children’s home called, Faith Foundation Nepal. It is run by Babin and Gita Lama and houses about 10 kids from villages all over Nepal. Growing up, Babin lived in a very remote village and walked a total of 4 hours to and from school every day. Sometimes he saw tigers! It’s been his passion to provide kid’s a home where food, clothing, medicine, mentorship is provided and is only a 10 minute walk from school. Babin and Gita (known as Uncle and Auntie to the kids) love them as if they’re their own. Now for Christmas, we want to bless them with a home renovation! The 3 story home has been battered by 8 years of monsoons…but it still stands as a loving, colorful and warm place to live. Help me send $2,500 for a home makeover!

THE BARTELS FAMILY raised money to build a new kitchen for Ashirvad Children's Home in Tuni, India. Within a month and a half, they had raised enough money to build the kitchen/dining hall, and fulfil other needs of the home. They had a wonderful experience traveling there together as a family, and this will always be a big part of there hearts.

Kevin Paschall - Nepal Projects

"My name is Kevin Paschall. I have had a few opportunities to love on God’s children all over the world within the past few years and every one of those occasions has been life changing.  My goal is three-fold: To install solar panels that will provide hot water during the cold winter months, obtain a new washer/dryer, and update some older kitchen equipment. Any support will go directly toward funding these projects for the Children’s Home in Nepal. Also partnering with Faith Foundation of Nepal."

Lindsey Spieker - BALI BUS PROJECT

The Children's Home needed a bus to transport the kids to school each day. Before, they were making 4 different trips, to school and back, and now they can accomplish it in one trip saving both gas and time for the staff. I adopted this project to help fill this need, and in 52 days of sharing within my community we had raised around $11,500 for the new bus. I traveled to Bali, Indonesia where we purchased the bus, and surprised the kids and staff. They were so happy and grateful, and the kids love their new ride!

Ferriy raised money for one of our partners that needed money for the kids school fees by running his first half marathon!

With proper care, the biogas project at the East Bali children’s home will supply enough gas to cover all of the home’s energy needs over the next three decades, eliminating the dependence on outside donations to buy gas. Additionally, the pigs used to supply the waste that powers the biogas, are being bred and sold, providing additional income for the home.
